Machine tending robots load and take out the products being processed in different kinds of machines. In the plastics industry, robots can pick up pre-molded components from a injection molding machine. In cutting processes, they can load and unload lathes and multitasking machines.

One of the advantages of robots and automated processes is high availability: the machines work safely for long periods of time. Another is that the orientation of the products can be maintained, allowing for the addition of other types of post-tending processes, labeling or assembly. In this way a completely finished product is produced. Quality is ensured, efficiency is increased, and time is freed up for working on other developments in the company.



Machining using cutting tools is one of our specialist skills. Our extensive experience and close cooperation with Swedish manufacturers has given us a solid knowledge of the process. Swedish companies have high demands when it comes to availability and control of each stage of the process, and that has fueled our development and taught us which factors are critical.

The more we can make the CNC machines a part of a whole, the better. That’s why Fröjd Automation will gladly supply fixtures for fastening components into the processing machines. If it’s advantageous that deburring, labeling and washing is included in the automation, we’re happy to contribute with our process knowledge there, too.

The overall control system is often dependent upon good communication with ERP and different types of follow-up variables. These parts of the process are also worth perfecting.


Fröjd Automation also builds larger automation cells to be used in conjunction with injection molding machines.

For example, products can be retrieved directly from the injection mold and get finished by the robotic cell with no detours. With automatic cutting of (gate, valve gating, ingates?), mounting, clipping, taping and ultrasonic welding, a finished and flawless product is the result.
